Monitoring & Call Sheets

I managed to get my photoshoot booked in for this week and the week after, which according to my schedule is fine because I wanted one shoot this week and one shoot the week after. However there was a slight mess up. I couldn't get the photoshoot I wanted for this week until next week, meaning I cannot do the poster until next week because I need the images of the students. I had to get the school nurse photoshoot this week isntead of next week, so they have been swopped around. Luckily I still have them within the same two weeks as planned, but It means I will have to do my products backwards to the schedule as I will have the photoshoots the other way round.

I think it will complicate things slightly as It means I cannot finish my poster this week as intended, but I can do the magazine instead as this only needs photo's of the school nurse, so I do think it will all be fine in the end but won't be matching my plan for the next two weeks. Also, the first photoshoot is tomorow instead of the Monday I wanted so I will loose out on one day, but I don't believe this will be too much of an issue and hopefully will sort its self out after the photoshoots have been completed. I will just swop the poster production time for the magazine production time.

Now that I have my photoshoots booked , I was able to do my call sheets. I have done the call sheets to give the model's an indication of what is required of them. They are attached below;

Recce

My media lessons started again today, allowing me to take a photo of my location. This is my project Recce, detailing information regarding the location. I didn't really have much to write about my location as its fairly simple therefore not a lot of content was needed. My next plan is to book my photoshoot in for next week. 

Risk Assessment & Hazard Evaluation

The only planning documents left to complete now are the recce, risk assessment and my call sheets. I can't give the call sheets out until I have booked the room for a specific time and date however, so that will be a last minute one. I also cannot do the recce until I get a photo of the room I will be using, which I cannot until next week so that will also be done next week. I have however done  the risk assessment, detailing what i think may be a risk to my project. 

Article 2 Planning Sheet & Signed Release Form

I am happy with the time I have left to complete planning documents, so just did one thing today and that was the other article plan. I don't feel rushed to complete the others and i am happy to take my time with them. I filled in the planning sheet for the second of my article's and also got one of my model's to sign the release form, so I will scan this in also.

Article 1 Plan & Release Form

I am continuing on with my planning documents. Today I wanted to start the article planning, as I've planned my photo shoots and felt that planning my article next would be a good idea. I am not sure of a time for my call sheets yet therefore I do want to leave these until last as I don't have a shoot booked as of yet, I only know when I plan to have it. Today I planned the first of my article's, and I will continue to create the second one tomorrow. 

I also created the Release Form which i will be giving to my models for them to sign, to make sure they are okay with their photo's being used in my product. The form is underneath and I will be scanning them in once I have them back signed.

Photoshoot Planning

Today I started my planning documents, creating the photo shoot plans first. In my schedule this is what I intended to be getting on with whilst waiting to do my pitch. So far I am on track in my Schedule as I have the first planning document done with. 



My photo shoot plan's include detail's of what I intend to shoot in each photo shoot, what prop's I need, costume and lighting arrangements. I found this took not long at all to complete as I knew exactly what I wanted to do therefore it was simple enough to write down. 


This is for my first photo shoot which is photo's of the students, both group photos and single photos, for the poster and the magazine.

This is for my second photo shoot which is photo's of the school nurse for the magazine, the poster and leaflet. 

Throughout this week I will continue to create planning documents, intending to have them all finished by the 25th January as I am going on holiday and want them done so when I come back I can start shooting right away. 

Scheduling & Contingency

This is my planned schedule for the project, of when i intend to have things completed by. I understand that thing's could go wrong and it may not always go to plan but hopefully this rough guide will keep me on track. I have also taken into account contingencies that could go wrong in my project to keep me alert of what could happen so I am prepared for them.
